A Manifesto on Palestine: Rethinking Liberation from Below

This manifesto proposes a new framework for understanding the Palestinian struggle for liberation, arguing that existing paradigms, particularly after the Oslo Accords, have become compromised by colonial and neoliberal rhetoric, leading to an epistemological crisis within Palestinian self-rule. It advocates for a redefinition of Palestinian resistance, moving beyond traditional diplomatic or institutional approaches to embrace anarchistic, decolonial, and ethical principles rooted in everyday life and grassroots movements. The text analyses the psychological and socio-economic impacts of colonialism, including internalised oppression and the rationalisation of dominance, while exploring concepts such as freedom, resistance, and self-organisation through the lenses of critical theory, psychoanalysis, and anarchist anthropology. Ultimately, it calls for a cultural revolution and the development of an ''ethics of resistance'' to foster a bottom-up, collective agency that can challenge both external colonial rule and internal authoritarianism.
