This book focuses on advances in environmental research. Chapter 1 covers methods and approaches to be used for compost tea production, factors affecting tea quality, application methods and potential benefits of compost tea application in crop production. Chapter 2 highlights the importance of certain enzymatic systems in bioremediation and their role in restoring ecological balance. Chapter 3 examines the various functions of plant growth-promoting microorganisms (PGPMs), such as bacteria, fungi, and actinomycetes, in facilitating nutrient uptake, supporting plant development, and triggering systemic resistance to both abiotic and biotic stresses. Chapter 4 analyzes the development and application of ETA sludge adsorbent to remove color and phenolic compounds from synthetic effluents.
