Despite these challenges, the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy presents significant economic opportunities for Africa. The book emphasizes that embracing this shift can help African countries transform their economies and strengthen resilience against climate change. It contends that the current international framework—where Africa has largely anchored its demands around climate justice—has yielded little tangible benefit for Africans.
