This fascinating new book presents some of the events and people who have made up the life of the historic market town of Mold. From Roman times the town''s strategic position ensured its regular involvement in Border warfare, while the extensive development of mining in the area during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries defined Mold as an industrial town and commercial centre.
