Selina, Felix, and Ryfon return to their home and find it under attack by Cadefor's swarming undead army. As they fight their way through the sewers, they face a new terror - flesh-bound creatures that seem impossible to defeat. The real danger lies in the shadows. Someone they trust has turned against them. With time running out, the heroes must make a stand or watch their world fall into total darkness. The titles in this series of Hi-Lo books are for students aged between 10 and 16 years with a reading age of 10 years. They utilise a range of dyslexia-friendly features to support pupils' reading, including off-white paper, an easy-to-read font and text separated into bite-sized chunks. The letter and paragraph spacing has been carefully considered to reduce visual stress. While these books have instantly appealing characters and gripping storylines, the language and sentence structure are intentionally written so that students who are reading behind their chronological age can succeed in reading them.
