How important are biological factors, such as hormones, in shaping our sexual destinies? This book brings a social development, as well as a biological and clinical psychological, perspective to bear on the factors that shape our development as male or female. Do biological factors, such as gonadal hormones, determine our sexual destiny after our genes are in place? Do they make men aggressive, or women nurturing?
