Robert Illig is the Dean's Distinguished Faculty Fellow at the University of Oregon School of Law, where he specializes in business and sports law. Professor Illig earned his J.D. at Vanderbilt University. Before entering academia, Professor Illig practiced law in New York and London, handling a wide range of negotiated transactions in the United States and overseas. His professional writing has appeared in numerous scholarly journals including the Journal of Legal Education, the Alabama Law Review, and the American University Law Review.
