China's Political Economy in Modern Times : Changes and Economic Consequences, 1800-2000

This book examines Chinese political economy spanning from 1800 to to the dawn of the 21st century, shedding new light on our understanding of the reasons and impact of socio-political and socio-economic changes in China.
