Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Builders : Understudied Contexts and Concepts

The contribution of this edited book is to fill the gap related to the lack of studies about methodologies to build Entrepreneurial Ecosystems (EEs), as well state new concepts to study EEs that are not represented in the current literature.

There are significant differences between the Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in highly-developed economies compared to the ecosystems in lesser-developed economies and the literature on Entrepreneurial Ecosystems (EEs) is concentrated mainly on studies investigating more developed ecosystems with less evidence and understanding of ecosystem dynamics in regions with limited resources. Bringing together global scholars, it features empirical and conceptual studies from overlooked contexts, including Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans, and Latino communities in the US. By exploring how diverse stakeholders interact and collaborate, this text provides both scholars and practitioners with insights to keep investigating and build the EE with novel and groundbreaking perspectives.
