Epstein-Barr Virus and Human Cancer

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), a human herpes virus, originally received attention because of its associations with Burkitt's lymphoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. EBV is ubiquitous in the human population and most people carry the virus in memory B-cells in a latent stage. In this book, US and Japanese researchers review progress in EBV research.
