Gotta Go, Camel : A Singalong-‘n’-Learn book with audio and video, from the Three Christmas Camels series, designed to help juniors learn to sight-read.

Sing along to the joyful Christmas song provided with this colourful picture book via a QR code, and enjoy the video of the story. Every page shows the music notation required to help junior children learn to sight read while they follow the score.

The song features a young girl who sings excitedly to her pet camel as they journey across the desert to meet the Holy family, describing the expectations given her by the angel, and guided by the Star of Bethlehem. It takes an easy, swinging rhythm as the camel lopes over the sand dunes, determined to join the celebrations.

Gotta Go, Camel is the third Singalong-‘n’-Learn book from Three Christmas Camels. Although the Christmas story is at the core, the song will appeal to children of all faiths and none. For older children’s choirs and adults, scores for mixed voices are available free from the author’s website. The full version performed to round off a Christmas concert will amuse those of all ages. Read, sing, learn… and smile!
