Equal importance is attached to assessment and to treatment of patients with neurotic and behavioural disorders, and much attention is devoted to general aspects of treatment, including the role of the multidisciplinary therapeutic team and the value of an eclectic approach. It will continue to be of historical interest to specialists today.
