Horizontal Architecture : Alan Faena

A powerful guide to living authentically, turning challenges into growth opportunities, and unlocking your true potential for a life of success and fulfillment.

A visionary force in contemporary design, Alan Faena has reimagined how architecture shapes lifestyle, creating globally recognized spaces that fuse culture and design—from the reinvention of an abandoned Buenos Aires neighborhood to landmark destinations in Miami Beach and New York.

In this transformative book, Faena shares a philosophy for living authentically and aligning with one’s truest self. Drawing on personal experience, he reveals how challenges fuel growth. Reality is the present calls us to live fully now, while Priorities guide us toward purpose. Patience teaches trust in time and transformation.

Each setback becomes an awakening, every fall a chance to begin again. Through Surrender and Humility, we embrace life’s unfolding. Ultimately, expansion is stepping into our full potential with clarity and courage. Success is not linear, but a continuous journey shaped by presence, resilience, and evolution.
