Human Rights and Public Health in the AIDS Pandemic

This is a more practical than theoretical book about the relationship between public health and human rights in HIV/AIDS. Historically, the fields of public health and human rights have remained largely separate. The AIDS pandemic, however, made it clear that a complex relationship exists between the two fields.
