Imperialism, Nationalism and Regionalism in Canadian and Modern Indian History

The study should be welcome to all those interested in history of modern India and Canada and should advance our understanding of the issues discussed and analysed.

Both India and Canada are plural societies and both have movements based on ethnic, linguistic and religious differences. Regional imbal­ances and unequal economic growth have generated tensions in both the countries. This volume is a collection of seven papers contributed by well known Canadian and Indian historians on aspects relating to Imperialism, Nationalism and Regionalism–themes where parallels can be drawn between the Indian and Canadian experiences.
