In The Ashes

In the Ashes is an action role-playing game played within a book. It uses an innovative mechanic in which adventurers, fight, choose paths, and find equipment. Combat dice are determined by flipping the book pages, and you mark the outcomes on later pages to tell you what happens when you arrive. It's much more than just a book or a game! A unique game that lets you live a great adventure with just a book and a pencil. A gaming system never seen before, which combines elements of video game RPG's, dungeon crawlers and adventure choosing, forming a new category we call gamebooks. 242 full-colour pages providing 12-15 hours of play with each adventure, with replayability to create different experiences.
