Each chapter of Intentionally Interprofessional Palliative Care is written and edited by a chaplain, nurse, physician, social worker, or other professional. Chapter authors representing diversity in professional perspective, region, practice environment, and personal characteristics, many of whom did not know each other prior to consenting to write a chapter together, demonstrate the synergistic value of the interprofessional perspective.
