Ein Künstlerbuch über Bilder von Bildern

In Jari Gensers künstlerischer Arbeit spielt die Wiederholung eine zentrale Rolle: Er malt Bilder, die immer das jeweils vorhergehende Bild im Prozess seiner Entstehung zeigen. Eine endlose Reihe: Bilder von Bildern von Bildern, wie zwei Spiegel, die sich gegenüberstehen und ein immer kleineres Spiegelbild zeigen. Und die Räume, in denen sie entstanden sind, die Dinge, die dort herumliegen, zufällig oder vorausschauend platziert, kurz: ein Leben. Wie schnell doch die Zeit vergeht.
