Leadership skills such as negotiation, persuasion and influencing and the nature of power and the importance of understanding one′s self and the communication process and project management skills and leading and managing change to improve health and wellbeing are considered. Case studies, activities and research summaries are used throughout the book to help the reader to understand how to apply the theory to practice.
