Livelihoods and Well-Being in the Era of Climate Change : Risk to Resilience Across India

This volume addresses livelihood vulnerabilities due to climate change-induced socio-environmental stresses among different communities in various geographical locations in India, and discusses how the people and communities can become resilient to these stresses. Through multiple case studies and regional analyses, the authors provide a holistic understanding of the impacts of climate change on livelihoods and well-beings in India, where other works on the subject are often fragmentary and do not encompass a comprehensive presentation of these topics.
