Lycia's Leopard

When eleven-year-old Lycia is uprooted from her vibrant life in London and plunged into the eerie stillness of the Sussex marshes, everything she loves seems lost - her home, her friends, even her voice. With her loyal Alsatian Clio by her side, she battles asthma, isolation, and a hostile new school where bullies lurk and art becomes her only escape. But just when things feel impossible, Lycia encounters something magical in the mists of Pevensey Marsh - a mysterious white leopard her father once claimed to have seen. Is it real, or a figment of imagination? As Lycia finds courage through creativity, canine companionship, and a secret act of defiance, she discovers the quiet power of belief - and the fierce resilience within herself. Heartfelt, courageous, and laced with mystery, Lycia’s Leopard is a moving story about the wildness of change, the strength of family, and the magic that lives just beyond what we can see.
