May I Die For You

Nargess, a criminal defence lawyer in NY, has come to Miami to be at the bedside of her father, who doesn't have long to live. There is something he wants to tell her before he dies, but before he has a chance, her mother sends Nargess to the hairdresser and instructs Dr. Baker, her father's louche best friend, to take her out to dinner. When the two come home, her father is dead.
