Metteur en scène et comédien, Omar Porras a mené les destinées du Teatro Malandro d’un squatt genevois aux plus grandes scènes internationales. Avec le Théâtre Kléber-Méleau de Renens, il reprend une institution qui porte, comme Malandro, le nom d’un être libre. La Société suisse du théâtre documente son parcours et souhaite faire connaître sa créativité éclectique.

As a director and actor, Omar Porras has guided the destinies of the Teatro Malandro from a squat in Geneva to the greatest international stages. He now takes charge of the Théâtre Kléber-Méleau in Renens, another institution that like the Malandro bears the name of a free spirit. The Swiss Society for the Dramatic Arts has documented his career in the hope of making his eclectic creativity known to a broader audience.
