Mitzvah

A supernatural noir mystery featuring werewolf detectives, zombie mobsters, and one very bad week. Everyone has a past, even Hassidic werewolves. Leery’s past has a taste for blood and wants revenge. There’s a killer running wild in the East Village, and according to the witness, it’s Leery Oriscoe in wolf form. The scent, the face, the hat. It’s him. After his ghostly Van Helsing lieutenant puts him on desk duty, Leery storms off, leaving Dru Nogan to prove his innocence. To do it, Dru will need help from her mother, and that means a trip to Hell. It looks like Dru picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue. After another body drops, Leery is in the clear, but the Rabbi who turned him becomes the prime suspect. To make things worse, the Zombie mafia’s pet necromancer assassin is in town, and she’s gunning for Leery. What better time for his Rabbi to ask him for one itty-bitty teensy-weensy little Mitzvah?Mitzvah is Book Three in the Claw & Warder series, perfect for readers who love supernatural police procedurals, paranormal courtroom drama, sharp gallows humour, and urban fantasy in the vein of Jim Butcher and Ben Aaronovitch. ___________________________________________________________________Praise for the Claw & Warder series:? ? ? ? ?
