In this autobiography, Alan King takes readers on a journey through his life, "name-dropping" some of the biggest stars in show business and revealing where he''s come from, how he got where he is, and the rewards, both professional and personal, he enjoys today.
"This is not going to be a tell-all book. My few dark secrets I''m taking to my grave, " Alan King assures us. Instead, this is the story of how a son of Russian immigrants - who came to this country in steerage - grew up to live in a mansion that had been built for Oscar Hammerstein.
