Ntsiki has been away from school because she has been ill. She is returning to school on her birthday and the children are planning a surprise for her. They want to make the biggest birthday cake in the world. The main theme of this story is that of process - something that is done in a certain time to achieve an aim - in this case the baking of a cake.

This title forms part of the Little Library programme, which consists of a Literacy Kit, Numeracy Kit and Life Skills Kit.
