Pfarrer:in sein

Text in German. What is the job of a pastor? Who are pastors? In the context of a plural and diverse society, it is not self-evident what the profile of the pastoral profession is. The profession is in transition. No one can say: "That''s exactly how it is to be a pastor." The book provides brief and clear information about pastoral theological discourses and provides provocative focuses and impulses for discussion about future-oriented tasks. What will be important tomorrow? What corresponds to me as a pastor? What does the Church expect? The authors describe the situation of the pastoral profession in the context of church, society and professional person. They provide an update of currently effective approaches in pastoral theology in the 21st century and develop essentials for shaping the pastoral profession today. The volume encourages discussion about the self-image of pastors.
