Public-Private Partnerships in Africa : Exploring Africa's Growth Potential

In the twenty-first century, governments around the world began to engage the private sector with the objective of achieving public service delivery targets, and the African continent has as such, been experiencing transformation, particularly since the introduction of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), as a measure of reform and method of procurement. Unfortunately, there is a mixed bag of successes and challenges through this implementation of PPPs, causing a gap in infrastructure, leaving more than 640 million Africans without access to energy.
