Real Markets and Environmental Change in Kerala, India : A New Understanding of the Impact of Crop Markets on Sustainable Development

First published in 1999, this volume explores the environmental change which is an increasingly serious problem for Third World countries, and one that has a major impact on the health and livelihoods of the world’s poor. In light of economic liberalization and increased agricultural trade, it thus becomes crucial to understand the varied impact of markets on environment and development.
