Seasons of Time offers a photographic meditation on the liminality of aging-juxtaposing two very different yet intricately connected comings of age: the transition into young adulthood and the passage into post-menopausal life. Rubens turns the camera both on herself and her daughter Ruby-creating a visual enquiry into change, self-discovery, and the cycles of life. Deeply personal yet universally resonant, the body of work exposes the inevitability of time passing. This intimate collection of images captures the beauty and complexity of female experience through the intertwined lenses of family, aging, and identity.
