The ninja high schoolers take a break from fighting and head to a summer festival. Normally, the socially awkward Yodaka would be miserable in a place with so many potential encounters with people, but for some reason, when he’s with Aoi, all those feelings melt away. And as Yodaka watches the fireworks with her, he suddenly notices the fireworks in his own heart. But the fun at the festival comes to a screeching halt when a gang of renegade ninja attack and kidnap Aoi!
