Sum Fun Maths Assessment : Years 5-6 Maths Assessment Puzzles for the 2014 Curriculum

Transform maths practice into brain-teasing adventures with Sum Fun Maths Assessment: Years 5–6! Designed for busy teachers, these reproducible self-correcting puzzle sheets assess key curriculum skills through laughter-filled challenges.

Each sheet targets a specific objective, covering number and place value, the four operations, fractions, decimals, and percentages. With several worksheets for each skill and an assessment checklist, it’s easy to keep track of pupils’ progress throughout the year.

As pupils solve problems, they reveal the punchlines to riddles and jokes — like “What goes dot-dash-croak?” (morse toad)? — turning practice into play.
