This book explores the differences for participants when the wives migrate for reproductive labor in the United States. This book also adds a much needed non-working class dimension to the impact of migration on women and marital relations, particularly in the Pacific Rim: where husbands remain in Taiwan, the country of origin, and send remittances to support their wives and children in the United States, the receiving country.
