Teaching Psychiatry to Undergraduates

This book is aimed at anyone involved in the delivery or planning of undergraduate psychiatry teaching. It is a practical, hands-on guide, which provides a basic introduction to key concepts in educational theory and explains how they can be applied to the unique setting of mental health.

Psychiatry requires a unique blend of knowledge, skills and attitudes, with important ethical and philosophical issues intrinsic to the specialty.
