Baby Bird lives with Mama Bird, Papa Bird, and a lot of worry.

Mostly Baby Bird worries when Papa Bird comes home. Sometimes he comes home too loud, or too quiet, or too . . . different. When all the birds in the tree decide to host a field day, Baby Bird hatches a plan. If he can win field day, Papa Bird will come home happy . . . right? With the help of Mama and all his neighbors, Baby Bird flies highest, builds a practically perfect nest, and catches the fastest worm! And Papa Bird doesn''t even notice. Baby Bird is devastated.
