Then, Now, Always : Ten Years of Voices for Treaty and Truth

In 2015, 40 Indigenous leaders gathered in Sydney and told Australia’s Prime Minister that they wanted a referendum. In Melbourne, 1000 people stopped an Australia Day parade, reminding the nation that we commemorate a day of invasion for many. In Adelaide, an Indigenous man was appointed Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and had treaty on his mind. This book tells the path of the following ten years, when hearts filled with hope and disappointment by turns, and Indigenous peoples remained defiant in calling for truth and treaty.
