Women and Food

The relationship between women and food has been examined from multiple perspectives across various disciplines, revealing a connection that is both profound and filled with social and cultural meaning. This relationship, significant and with deep historical roots, remains evident today, albeit in new and continuously changing forms. In this book, Marzia Mauriello explores this dynamic connection in depth, analyzing the four principal axes that structure the connection between women and food: production, preparation, distribution, and consumption.
